OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA — August 24, 2026 – SensTek Diagnostics and Pet Harmony AI, an animal-health technology company, today announced a collaboration to explore an integrated early-warning and rapid-testing platform for companion animals, livestock and veterinary applications.

The collaboration is intended to combine Pet Harmony AI's AI-powered early-warning platform and continuous animal monitoring capabilities with SensTek's portable molecular testing platform. Under the proposed workflow, early-warning data from Pet Harmony AI's platform could trigger targeted, on-site diagnostic testing to help veterinarians and animal-health operators confirm potential health concerns and make faster, more informed decisions.

SensTek is developing a next-generation MS2 reader and 4 target multiplexed cartridge platform. The system is designed to support detection of multiple simultaneous DNA/RNA targets and future higher-density multiplexing up to 32 targets. SensTek is targeting initial availability of the platform for trials in Q4 2026.

The companies expect to evaluate applications in veterinary clinics, cattle operations, and other animal-care environments. Initial work will focus on high-value targets, practical sample types such as saliva, and research-use-only pathways before broader regulatory commercialization.
